My Dream Home

When cycling through the Cotswolds a few years ago, I discovered my dream home. Isn't it lovely? The owners are very lucky.Check out the link to Cotswold Country Cycles- even my kids loved cycling through the countryside.

Oh yes! A thatched roof cottage is # 1 on my Dream Home list but I figured I'd have to win the big lottery to live on one of those. It's still on my 'dream' list though. I love the Cotswolds. I have a sister who lives in a little village northeast of London and when I went to visit her once she and her hubby took me to Cornwall to visit family but on the way we stopped to visit friends in the Cotswolds. I LOVED it there. The color of the stones on the houses and buildings was just beautiful. We went to Bourton On The Water and walked around the village along the water. I could live in England quite happily. Those bike tours sound like a wonderful idea..what a great way to see the villages and the countryside. Thanks for bringing back happy memories.

Do you feel like you're in fantasy land while cycling around the village? Wew~ That's a totally awesome experience! Btw, is it still your dream home? I'm thinking if you have come across a better house while cycling. Hmm. It's a good thing that you've discovered that house, though. It looks so magical!

What a beautiful house! No wonder you fell in love with it! It looks like every inch of a countryside home. Actually, it reminds of the Hobbits’ house in Lord of the Rings, except for the door. :-) This could be a candidate for a Middle Earth residence. :-) [Armandina Skerl]

Armandina is right! This could be a candidate for a Middle Earth house! But I think this one is much better since it is for real. And this one exudes the right amount of countryside vibe, which is quite lovely! I want to spend my summer or fall in this place. Well, why not the whole year!
